How Do I Get My License?

The first thing you need to do before you can become an agent is obtain a license from the Florida Real Estate Commission. This can be achieved by meeting the following criteria:

• You must be 18 years of age.
• You must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• You must have successfully completed a state-required education course.

That last step is where the Watson School of Real Estate comes in. Over several weeks, new agents learn all the principles and practices they need to fulfill the 63 hours of instruction required by the Florida Real Estate Commission.
